Before you get started reading about steps for self care, I would like for you to STOP the following five things:
Putting yourself down. Look at yourself in the mirror everyday and tell yourself at least three things that you find great about being you.
Trying to please everyone. Instead behave kindly to people around you and you may find that they will be kind and remember it's okay to say no.
Fear of change. Life is constantly moving and changing. Learn to fight through your fear in order to reap the rewards.
Living in the past. Learn to accept things that weren't good for you and learn how to make life less miserable in the now.
Overthinking. Stop thinking so much. Learn to distract yourself by doing things you love and enjoy.
Here is an inspirational quote:
Normality is a paved Road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow. Vincent van Gogh
Today work on understanding that perfectionism is overrated. Being different is IN if you haven't heard already.
Be the best version of yourself. Be confident and honest with yourself as much as you can. Prove yourself to NO one. The only person you need to prove how amazing you are to is yourself. OPTIMIST: is someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, It's more like the salsa or cha cha!
Life is a dance it's up to you to choose what type of dance you're going to perform.
